This is seriously important, I don't know how to fix this, I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting my computer, waiting 2 hours for the configuring to end, I've been stuck using the windows 10 version, but i seriously want to get back to game making, and the windows 10 version doesn't allow that from what i know. If anyone knows how to fix this or how to access studio on windows 10. let me know.

Dealing with the same issue. I left studio installing for 8 hours and it's still not done. Try leaving it on for a day at least, heard it worked.

Sadly, i don't have the patience to wait a day, I've been waiting 2 days for this to get fixed. Still haven't heard anything from here other than safe mode and disabling antivirus.

Not factory resetting unless this is a computer-side problem.

late reply, but you're not the only one having this issue! this is pretty outrageous since we can't play anything until roblox fixes this. let's hope for an update that'll fix this soon!

Just turn of all anti-viruses, let it update, then turn them back on. Worked for me.
