From the two years I have been gone they have added multiple tools that allow you to combine parts/join them together. I don't know how to do it but go the the builder subforum.

Click duplicate as fast as possible while selecting the model, it joins the parts with other ones, giving each one the higher performing copy. Do this for 10 seconds at least.
