i can see the numerous amount of effort being put into making non free games to be playable in roblox but the laziness of having an original idea of making a game

animatronic tychoon/world (that cancer is still on-going)
murder games (a gamemode in gmod and its being farmed)
prison/jail break games (also a gamemode in gmod)
reason 2 die (obvious left 4 dead parody but kid friendly)

probably roblox knows it will never be a "professional" game engine at the level of others around it; look at the time roblox has taken to implement some quite basic things. seems like they are just going to settle as an alright engine, having their selling point as "you can rip off other people's games for money". to be honest, i dislike the pseudo-professionalism image they are trying to make, and i would rather have a pretty good physics/scripting sandbox then an utterly mediocre "GAME CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINE MAKE $100000000!!!" |

Also, RENDER... TARGETS.
to be fair the engine is really easy to work with, which is why I like to use it. |
