It's like a virus. When you run a game with the model infected (RotateP) then it spreads to EVERY BLOCK IN THE GAME. So once you run the game, you are screwed unless you download a plugin to remove it. If you see it in a model, delete it before you run the game.

Completely wrong; don't speak without knowing how things work.
Anyways it's just a script and it's as limited as can be which is only effective at runtime. It will spread but all you have to do is remove the model. Scripts cannot save outside of runtime on their own so if you run it and go back into Studio it'll still be a neatly packed model.
Also all "antivirus" plugins are things that just about anyone could make with simple string matching and don't work 9 out of 10 times. |

Basically it's just a script that creates a motor or weld, names it something stupid, then copies it to everything in the workspace.

the infected model will reduplicate itself into other models if you run the game and then save it while it is running, which is a really stupid thing to do in the first place
you shouldn't have any problems if you don't save the game while it is running

the "virus" is basically a script that clones itself into every other part in the game and makes it lag
the "virus" was a problem back when roblox still had Play Solo mode for using ROBLOX studio while you're in a game, but Play Solo got removed not long ago so the cloning virus thing isn't really a problem anymore

The majority of them are require loaders. Seems like (cough) they're trying to hide something (backdoors cough).

the worst it can do is mess up your game really bad which would require you to revert the place version if you recently saved it, or start over your game completely if you were idiotic enough to not have auto-save enabled

Infected free model means that there is a virus that could either encrypt a destructive virus into your game or steal the game setup in general. These are found sometimes by looking in free models for a script called InFeCtIoN or a blue block with tons of symbols. |

Either way it's best to just delete the model and not use it. Your best bet is to use models created by Moderators or trusted developers. This includes: Quenty, UristMcSparks, NWSpacek, or EndorsedModel |
