Hello, everyone, here I'm going to be explaining why I'm running and what I plan on doing if elected Assistant Chief. First off, I'm running for AC because I feel that DPD lacks skill, lacks activity, and lacks discipline. DPD is being used as a insult and a joke for other departments because of this and I want this to all end. Here are some of the things I plan to change:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Training's]:
As AC I will try to make training's more strict and shorter. I'm aware that usually, training's lose half of their trainees halfway through because of the lengths. As I said before DPD lacks discipline, so I will do my best to keep training's stricter, this meaning more kicks being made, and more time being saved to keep the training going.
[Abuse]:
Abuse is a common problem in most departments, and this issue IS being worked on by our chiefs, but much of the abuse is caused by officers that are oblivious toward their actions. By editing the training's we can make it so that in the classroom or anywhere else, trainers will make it clear to all the definition of abuse and what is and what is not abuse.
[Skill]:
A officer must be trained to use a firearm or any weapon skillfully, and properly. That should be obvious to most of you. But as I mentioned before, I feel DPD lacks skill. I want a regular DPD officer armed with a glock to be able to take down a criminal armed with a minigun. That is very high standards, but it should be do-able. I will try to bring back the shooting range, because I believe it’s valuable for officers to learn how to use a firearm properly and skillfully.
[Activity]:
I am aware of the difficulty for everyone to stay active, but if we want a better DPD, we need dedication. The best way to show dedication, is activity. The many commanders we have in DPD go inactive until an HR trial or test occurs. They don’t participate because they won’t get any promotions. I want to change this, the MR rank should have more meaning and be more valuable than a few trainings and an obby. So I plan on changing the MR system as well.
[Discipline]:
I believe that discipline is one of the most important principles of a department. Without discipline, you'll get nowhere with any group. As AC, I shall see that everyone should be using their grammar to the best of their ability, follow instructions obediently, and learn to matu#######herwise, being ranked to suspension would suit them best.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If elected Assistant Chief, it will be my objective to form DPD into the most elite department out there. As always, it will be my honor to serve DPD the best I can. I ask that you would please support me for a better DPD.
