People who are telling me to play AOE II and MTW II, I've played them. But firstly, MTW II is not an RTS, well, that is arguable. The game plays in both modes, the battles and the overall game. For AGE OF EMPIRES, I love that, and that is what I'm trying to say, in a way.

If you were to give a description of the Original Conquerors to a person who never played it before, they'd say, "Oh, that sounds like a bad bootleg of C&C. |

Actually no.
TC3 doesn't have most of the super noticeable features in C&C such as a single player campaign and well defined factions.
Your excuse could easily apply to any RTS if you boil it down to the key aspects of a RTS.
By your logic, Starcraft is a blatant rip off of C&C lmao.

What I meant was that just because it is a medieval game, doesn't mean it is a direct rip off or a poor bootleg. My, "Logic" was about Eras, not the gameplay. Indeed, the gameplay on mine kind of sounds like Medieval II, but still, there are some features which mine doesn't have. When the Conquerors was an idea to begin with, I believe HatHelper had a post saying, "I am making a game based on Little Men and C&C". A modern RTS in comparable to C&C, a Medieval one is comparable to any Medieval game. Do you understand where I'm going? |
