I don't know I quite like his stuff, my issue is he hasn't quiet found a sound yet. Let the new album, Look At Me! is cloud rap if a little more effort was put in. But then theres I Don't Wanna Do This Anymore and Looking For A Star which sounds like almost somewhat Drake sounding pop rap which is good but seemed a little out of character x. Then theres Valentine and King, which I **** you not is a full on alt rock track followed up with what sounds like x's take at a Brand New style emo song full on with a chorus that sounds like it could appear on Devil And God Are Raging ###### ### Then theres Slipknot which sounds kind of like what X usually does (but better no seriously aside from Valentine and King which I throughly love this is one of my favorites on this album). Then the last 2 sound very similar to look at me, more hedonistic and angry. Honestly Revenge is a good album it just...it doesn't have it's feet on the ground.

-edgy sadboi fanbase -he is one dimensional as a rapper -lots of his songs are short and feel unfinished -not a GREAT lyricist -right in your face anger and it feels childish, honestly -I swear I heard he takes inspiration from stuff like slipknot and linkin park (could be wrong though)

There's a difference between having your music be unique in a positive manner and having it be unique just for the sake of being unique. If it doesn't add to the quality of the music itself, what is the point?

I did comment on how messy it sounded because it wasn't focused and he doesn't have a focused sound. But the absolutely fantastic bass line on Valentine! The lyrics on Slipknot, and the pop sensibility of Looking For A Star show x can do great things. He just needs to find his sound.

I like him, I think he's cool to casually bump to. But, it is true his lyrics are stupid sometimes and some of his songs feel unfinished. (It is also true his fan base can be horrifying too.)
