UDPS PROMOTIONAL GUIDE
Applicant -> Postman
To get promoted to Postman, you must attend a BPT. A BPT is a Basic Postman Training. Go back to our FORUM HUB and go to Basic Postman Training Information and Guidelines to read more about it.
Postman -> Postmaster
This can be earned by doing your job the way you are taught to do it from BPT’s. If you show that you dedicate yourself to your position, and we see that, you have a likely chance of being promoted. Showing attention to the group daily is VERY important in your promotion.
Postmaster -> Supervisor
In order to get to this rank, we’re more focused on seeing you help other Postmen or Applicants, as it shows you have a lot of experience within our group. You MUST also show some leadership with this role. This is because Supervisor is the first MR Rank, which is a Probationary HR. HRs will keep an eye on you as a Supervisor, to make sure you are keeping up with your Postmen. Supervisors are mainly in-charge of watching after the Postmen and Postmaster’s as they’re on duty. Mostly like a Shift-Manager. Supervisors may also help in Department Decisions, such as Promotions. This group is a little bit more demanding, and requires MORE EXPERIENCE AND LEADERSHIP. Supervisors are also going to go through Instructors Training, to begin hosting BPT’s for Postmen.
Supervisor -> Head of Operations
Head of Operations is the first HR Rank. This means you have to help out in most of the Secretaries issues. This allows this role and above not to have to go on patrols, with an enforced inactivity scale. This is because they MUST spend more time changing things up and making things better for the group, instead of patrolling so much. So as a Supervisor, if you start taking participation in HR operations, like promotions, it shows us that you’re showing dedication, and showing that you are watching after postmen and women to make sure they are doing well.
Head of Operations -> Deputy Secretary
The main way to get promoted to DS, is to assist in Promotions, Deputy Secretary’s and Secretary’s operations. Help out with the Group, by keeping the wall clean from bad comments, accepting people in the group, without DS or Secretary having to do it. Do things that the DS and Secretary do on a daily basis.
Deputy Secretary -> Secretary
This is practically impossible. This position is an ELECTED position, only when the Secretary has retired, or given up on us. This will NEVER happen, unless there is a certain circumstance. If this does however happen, there will be a election hosted by the Secretary himself or herself before they retire.
