People over 13 are much more ###### than under 13. we don't hand out our age, numbers, ########## #### ##### etc. we can't communicate to each other normally because of this garbage filter because roblox thinks that we do this. we can't even search the catalog for what we want because nobody has hashes in their item names.
so instead, we should give 13+ users a different filter to go off of.
give 13- users this filter, and give us 13+ users a filter where we can say our own username, where we don't have to say our username because it's not censored, where we can count to 3 without someone saying, "what?" where we can search for "Miles (and his la###n####"######e catalog without it being censored, and just be free.
what you should censor are the following:
1.) ###### language.
this includes curse words, vulgar body parts, etc.
2.) death language
stuff like kill, and the word yourself combined. you get the point.
And that's IT. don't do numbers and other stuff that COULD mean something else... yet. someone will report when that happens, THEN you add that to the filter. that way, when an update rolls around, you won't all of a sudden not be able to speak English.
and that's my idea. any changes to be made? agree? disagree? let me know, and why.

Most people can say their user names without being tagged, so that's pretty much a problem for you, not the community. You can communicate better than those who are not teens, so I reccomend not complaining, and seeing how they cannot communicate even more than you.
I'm not trying to defend the not-teens, but I'm just bringing up that they have a harder time than the teens. |

Also, I'm not quite sure how the teen+ filter is being changed here, mostly your idea seems the same as the current filter. |

And I have a solution for the name searching thing. If you look up a username on your regular search engine, and then put ROBLOX, you can generally find your person's ROBLOX profile. |

No, it isn't. It's that teen+ users complain about their filter, while they don't realize that non teen users have a more strict filter. As for the poop sandwich scenario, my message completely applies to that! Every scenario you give me helps prove my point.

Look, I agree as much as you that the filter stinks. What they should do is add more filters for more specific age groups. That's at least what I believe. That is if they even get control of their own filters. |

Most users on roblox are too clever to put their age under 13.
I've been on roblox since 10' and I was pretty young, I never ever put my age under 13.
I mean seriously, if you were them, wouldn't you also lie so you can be able to get benefits as well as seeming older?

that's like going on google, searching up a wikihow article, then right before you click it, you wait 5 seconds, then go to a new tab, go to Yahoo! to search the same thing, then right before you click, you wait 10 seconds, then click out of the tab, then click the link you were going to click in the first place. it's counter-productive.

Yeah this filter that roblox updated is pretty annoying. Sometimes I end up having to spell what I had said or put some letters in between of what I said because of this filter. The stuff I say are not even inappropriate or bad. |
