The People's Republic of Jamaican Trade (uh for someone) Jamaica, a relatively irrelevant, poor country, was not the target of the nuclear annihilation that took place in 2016. The government still had to deal with the radiation, as well as the increase in seismic change. A month after the dropping of nuclear missiles, Jamaica was put into a civil war. The belligerents were the Red Union Politics of Cuba & the Dominican Republic, the Puerto Rican Defense Union, and the Jamaican Local Government Society. The war lasted three months, a clutched victory, with the PRDU and JLGS holding off the land invasion from the RUPJDR. While the war went on for only three months, it influenced the civilian populace of Jamaica immensely. Eventually, the JLGS went under reform. Two months after the war, the Jamaican population dropped immensely (22.7). This was due to the fact that the main ethnic group was African, who were meant to deal with heat, and have little resistance to coldth, as well as the radiation moving south from the United States. The remains of the JLGS began giving out remaining supplies, such as jackets, firewood, etc. The civilians of Jamaica were unarmed, as most hadn't a need for a weapon until now. The JLGS began confiscating weaponry and arms from the civilian populace they could salvage or find from the remains, and used it for their own use. The JLGS used remaining weapons their pre-war defense force had, such as the SA-80 (5.56x45), Glock 37 (.45 GAP), and FNMAG L7A1 (7.62x51). While seemingly powerful, they lack control and support of the civilians, and the JLGS used cheap-like cold war-era weapons. In 2017, March 8th, began trading with civilians in the lower states in the US (Florida, Louisana). They traded weapons, protective gear, and ammo, for jackets, food, water, etc. Later that year, the "Revolusie Dag", where civilians overpowered the JSLG government building, overwhelming them with the overpopulated group, and eventually taking control of Jamaican government. The People's Republic of Jamaican Trade is formed, and began doing larger trade involvements with the United States.
