The Red Keep and it's throne room are an iconic location of King's Landing. With a rich and detailed history, the Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms has traditionally made the Iron Throne and the Red Keep the capital of their regime. As such as a traditional and valued location, there are specific rules to the Keep. The throne room is sorted into areas. Only specific ranks may have access to such areas or risk humiliation for their trespassing and subsequent punishment, most commonly, death. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞: Reserved for the Ruler of TSK or the Hand of the King/Queen. Anyone else caught touching the throne will be subjected to immediate death. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦: The tan square and semi-circle tile that the Throne sits on is reserved for Royal Family and Small Council+ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬: The black steps around and leading up to the Royal Podium and Side Podiums are for the Kingsguard and Lord Paramounts+. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫: The area between the Front Steps and Back Steps (the long tan tiles in-between) is reserved for Lords and Ladies who have permission from the King, Queen, Hand, or Royal Family. Anyone above the rank of Lord or Lady have automatic permission. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬: The black steps leading up to the second floor and all the Throne are reserved for Knights who have been selected as personal bodyguards by Lord Paramounts+ (limit of one bodyguard per Noble). All Lords, Ladies, and ranks above them also have access to the front steps. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫:There are two parallel pillars nearest to the Throne. Only Knights+ may pass the Third Pillar, however they may not touch the steps or go above without being a bodyguard or granted permission by the Hand of the King or Ruler of TSK. All other TSK members are expected to stand up to or behind the Third Pillar. Anyone given permission by the King or Hand may temporarily bypass these rules. Anyone below the rank of Commoner is not allowed in the Red Keep whatsoever. City Watch are expected to guard the door of the Red Keep outside or inside at their discretion. Developers and Administrators may go anywhere they please, but may not sit on the Iron Throne. Punishment for violating these rules is death. Repeated offenses will result in harsher penalties such as being barred from the Keep, kicked from the game, demotion in The Seven Kingdoms, or being banned altogether from King's Landing.
