I want to be neon. Also I feel that this would add much needed depth to character customization for NBC and paid users alike. Just think of the potential... And there'd be less on an excuse to use default clothing!

Honestly this sounds like a great idea!

Here we go, there I am! Where shall I head next? |

Yes, before I quit there were only 3 or 4 materials, but now there are enough to make this feature worthwhile. It's time to invest in a feature that fuels imagination.

Great way to blind people or to become an easy target.

Not a bad idea! I think this would make the game a whole lot more fun!

Thank you for your support SomeLazyOtaku. It was only in recent times that we were given the options to change the skin colors of individual parts for our avatars, now Roblox needs to take it a step further and distract us from the fact that they made us wear default clothing!

Thank you for your support, magnet4robux. This would indeed add depth to both game-play and character customization. It would definitely make it easier for users to add "themes" to their avatars and match certain hats that just don't go with regular clothing.

@Mana
You can still change individual body colour parts. |

No support, there are packages that give you this ability, sure they cost robux, but either way if roblox were to add this, they would probably make it cost robux. CUΝΤ

And plus with UGC for the catalog coming out, people would probably make materials that blend in with the environment.

Bumping since Roblox wants to phase out transparent shirts entirely.
Some of you have said that you can use packages for the same effect. Packages are an entirely different beast, and this proposal is to modify the default plastic material into whatever material you please. What I'm proposing is that we make this customization option available for all users. Heck, charge us 500 robux to use the feature for all I care. We don't want the default clothing update. If it's really going to be forced on us, then give us some leeway already!
