Something I've noticed throughout countless times of animating is that whenever I am animating something with many parts and don't want a part to move toward another part due to it not having been set before the next line of animation points are created, so I am forced to click on every part and click the notch for movement/rotation to set its current position before moving onto the next line.
The suggestion would be to add another option to the Animation Line Options (Delete, Reset, Copy, Delete) and add one labeled 'Set Locations', this would then add the purple dots to every item within that animation line and would save tons of time.
