ACFR FIREFIGHTER/EMS HANDBOOK ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 【SECTIONS】 -I: BASIC PROCEDURES -II: INACTIVITY -III: UNIFORMS -IV: PUNCTUALITY -V: SHIFT POLICIES -VI: INSUBORDINATION/DISRESPECT OF HICOMM ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ I 【BASIC PROCEDURES】 -As a member of Arapahoe County Fire Rescue, you have the highest expectation. -While on-duty and off-duty, you are expected to have professionalism and respect for others. -Misconduct of any kind is not tolerated, and you will be given no warnings prior to consequences. -Swearing while on-duty is strictly forbidden. -You are expected to comply with the orders and commands of those higher than you. -You are to show respect and gratitude to those higher and below you. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ II 【INACTIVITY】 -As personnel of ACFR, you are expected to upkeep frequent activity within Arapahoe County and Arapahoe County Fire Rescue. -Inactivity that you have not given notice on will be not tolerated. -After an allotted period of time, you will be given an inactivity warning at which point you must give notice of your inactivity within 3 days. -Failure to fill out a inactivity notice once given to you by ACFR HICOMM within 3 days will result in termination from ACFR. -Frequent inactivity without notice will result in an exile from the Agency. NO exceptions. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ III 【UNIFORMS】 -While on duty as a Firefighter and at the station, you are to wear the Station Shirt and Station Pants/Bunker Pants. -While on duty as a EMT/Paramedic, you are to wear the EMS uniform at ALL times. -When responding to a call, regardless if you are a EMT or Firefighter, you are to wear the helmet of your rank. NO EXCEPTIONS. -When responding to a call as a Firefighter, you are to wear Bunker Gear Coat AND Bunker Gear Pants at ALL times. NO EXCEPTIONS. -Uniforms and helmets can be found in-game, therefor uniform misconduct is not tolerated, and will result in an immediate suspension. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ IV 【PUNCTUALITY】 -You are expected to show up to formal ACFR events, such as meetings and trainings, on time. -You are not to leave formal ACFR Events until dismissed. -Showing up late/leaving events without dismissal repeatedly will not be tolerated. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ V 【SHIFT POLICIES】 [COMMUNICATION] -At the beginning of a Shift as a Firefighter, the highest ranking official will assign you a rig, and a position on that rig. -While assigned to that rig, your radio callsign, as along with the callsign of others on that rig, will be the same. The callsign corresponds with the rig you are on. -If there are more than one of the same rigs, you will use the secondary callsign for that rig. -ACFR HICOMM can choose one of the Battalion callsigns when not using a rig with a pre-assigned callsign. -ACFR Callsign List: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=219923529 -At the beginning of a Shift, it is required you are either in a Discord voice channel or plan to be active on the in-game radio, as communication is key. -Regardless of your method of communication, it is required you have the in-game radio open at ALL times. -Direct messages to other ACFR personnel are to begin with “Direct” followed by their call sign. [CONDUCT] -Do not take a rig you are not permitted to use, as it will result in a suspension. -You are not permitted to be elsewhere than the station for longer than 10 minutes when there is no callout. -Maturity is MANDATORY while on and off duty. -The way you act reflects our Department as a whole. We will NOT have a bad reputation due to the immaturity of a Firefighter or EMT. -Good grammar is REQUIRED.
