I remember there was an attempt at doing this called "Front Page Cleaners." I think the group is dead... RIP
We should have a sort of curating system that allows people to find better games.
Right now, the market is stale with Phantom Forces, Lumber Tycoon, Jailbreak, Apocalypse Rising, Work at a Pizza Place, ROBLOX High School, Jailbreak, Pokemon BrickBronze, and most of all, Jailbreak (50k at once?!)
Don't get me wrong, they're great games, and some of them are rare masterpieces, notably Phantom Forces. But they suffocate other games.
Introducing such a system would bring plenty of benefits -
-Now that people are actually picking out their games, it'll force developers to innovate, including the top dogs - introducing competition will force everyone to push the best product out possible.
-It's easier to get recognized
-For ROBLOX, this means more quality games --> more people introducing gamepasses --> more R$ willingly bought for gamepasses --> more money.
Steam's curator system isn't perfect either, but I think it could still work, as long as there's a section dedicated to people such as actual developers, long-time veterans, etc. to make sure that it's not just garbage.
Probably a dumb idea, but...
