When the last person in a private group leaves, it stays private. When this happens, the group basically becomes a large, heavy rock. You can't use it, making it purposeless.
What I recommend is that when the last person leaves a private group, it automatically becomes a Public group, as well as changing all the inactive private groups to public groups as well.
This would stop people from namesniping groups just so others can't use the group. This would also stop people who just want to retire they're group, which may seem bad, but in the right light, this means that people can re-use the group and possibly make it popular, and fantastic. |
