you should notice by now that when driving a vehicle (such as a car), the camera will "follow" behind you when you move
if you manually move the camera by right-clicking or with > or <, it'll correct itself to following behind you
this is very annoying in cases which require looking or firing in a direction different from where you are travelling
similar to being able to change between "classic" and "follow" camera settings around the avatar, camera settings around vehicles should be implemented, possibly with these 3 options:
"follow" - how it is now; the camera trails in the direction of movement
"classic" - how it was before; the camera is fixed on the vehicle's orientation
"track" - the default for the player; the camera's focus is on the player but can freely be rotated
roblox has literally made everything here before, so there'd be no problems implementing it, not even the amount of time it would consume
and i don't see any downsides for it either

before you say "scriptable"
scripting it isn't going to help with anything

support
it used to be this way, i've no idea why they suddenly decided it'd be a brilliant idea to just force you to look straight ahead when in a vehicle |

Support it's so freaking annoying. If I wanted the camera moved, I would move it myself.

Wow, an actual legitimate suggestion!
It can be done by scripting though. |
