@Dev_brandon
personally i think its the best cuz its the fastest verse that has really good flow and AMAZING lyrics/lyrical acrobats
Rap god was fast, yeah, but it's message was shallow and superficial. the lyrics arent that great, it's mostly one of his "im the best" songs and he seems to just go on and on about it. It's a song of cocki################ of degrades it's message for me.
Speedom was good but it didn't really have much flow. The lyrics weren't anything special, and it seemed very choppy.
This one though, it's has this like crescendo to a point where he hits ultimate speed and stays there for like a minute before slowing down again, and it's lyrics really hit home.
"In the beginning a few of the people
Who had a problem I was this good, scoffed
I just shook off, probably reminded you
Of the first time you saw Tiger Woods golf
Never thought about how much my race and nationality meant, but based on how I ascended
See how plain it was now, they want me to jet
But no one really gave a fu####bout my descent, 'til I took off
Mistook me because I look soft"
"And had you on pins and needles when I spoke to you all
You felt my pain, it's almost like I poked voodoo dolls
And I hope my spirit haunts the studios when I'm gone
My picture jumps off a poster
And just floats through the halls"
I mean the first part I pasted showed his early-life struggles, where he was some white kid in detroit trynna make it in an african-american dominated culture
Second part I pasted talks about his struggle when he became famous: his obsession with becoming the 'best' and making a 'legacy' |
