lua is borderline visual basic .net, if you cant learn lua i honestly dont know how you're still here
scratch doesnt teach you anything except how to do variables and loops...in blocks.
it wont teach you when it comes to the typing language
scratch isnt a programming language and shouldnt be seen as one |

pretty much, people who need scratch style programming are just lazy and dont have motivation to try |

You can't go very far with Scratch's drag-drop menu. Sure, it's a good way for beginners to get exposed to early programming, but you can't keep using it forever. Besides, this would be too much effort for the ROBLOX staff, just to make a few users, who are probably younger than most game developers on ROBLOX, happy. The mass majority of the ROBLOX community would be upset, especially the more professional game developers, who have taken a lot of time and effort to learn L U A. |

If you can't learn basic LUA, you might as well just quit programming.
LUA is probably one of the most basic languages.
