The arctic fox has the warmest coat of all the arctic animals. The white color of their fur helps them stay camouflaged in the snow. This helps them hide from predators, like the polar bear. An arctic fox also has a thick layer of hair on the bottom of it's paws. This keeps them from slipping when they are walking across the frozen arctic surface. |
