I feel like the higher-up admins are pressuring the lower admins to force out updates and they dont really have the time to make sure its working properly. The higher-up admin(s) should probably just stop trying to update ROBLOX and just try to fix it's bugs, such as the unreasonable amount of tagging. Admins should listen to the community, too, and make community idea updates... Oh wow I just realised how off-topic this got. Anyways, yeah broken updates caused this. |

It's honestly stupid, I'm a moderator for a script builder and as such I typically try and join the bigger servers to moderate them.
(More people, more chance for rule breakers)
But now I just have to push play and get a random game.

Exactly. There were a lot of uses for the server lists, and the ROBLOX admins decided to remove a feature.
If there is a problem with bots, FIND THEM AND IP BAN THEM, guys! C'mon, it's not that hard to actually care about and moderate your own game!
Instead of destroying the player's trust in the admins by releasing crappy, unwanted updates, that basically destroy the glory that ROBLOX once was, they should focus on adding for features and making the game more fun to play.
The lack of censorship, and the ability to find any user at any time was what made ROBLOX great in the first place. It let users express complete creative freedom.
Who cares if some kid is bullied and exposed to profane language and acts? It's the parent's job to look after their child and to moderate what they do. It's the childs fault for not just leaving the game after being treated poorly. THEY CHOOSE TO STAY THERE AND GET BULLIED! Why punish other users by removing features?

read along with me to this wonderful thread reply for some help on your discussion.
All started this morning, when ROBLOX removed the servers tab to prevent bots from joining a certain server. Now, you can only join servers your friends are in.

Ummm....That doesn't explain why ROBLOX is removing features, actually. Bots? That's a poor excuse to push out random updates. If people didn't want to be bothered by bots, they should just disable messaging or just ignore the spam...It's not that hard.
I hate it when people complain about something they can easily fix or ignore.
Also, I've e-mail ROBLOX "support" several times before. You guys need to work on that, because it offers no reasonable help at all. It only helps you recover an account when you can already do that with your e-mail or cred card...
It's not supporting or helpful, for most issues. I wish an actual PERSON would have an actual CONVERSATION with me about the problem instead of some copy-and-paste reply and a bot to answer the initial e-mail.
I mean no disrespect from that, I'm trying to give you guys some constructive criticism and speak up for the people that truly do not appreciate the unwanted updates. I know it's your site, but people pay money toward this game. They pay for some extra fun. Don't let it go to waste by ruining another area of an already AWESOME game.
I absolutely adore ROBLOX, and have for the past 6 years. It has been a huge part of my life. Then I see it's original amazingness crumbling away before my eyes.

@LeeTheDarkMage Basically they removed the list because of bots taking usernames from that list and sending them friend requests and message and so on.
They COULD of dealt with it another way, but I think this is just a quick and easy fix they are trying until they have a batter way of eliminating the bots completely.
