I, and probably more than 75% of the Roblox community is fed up with these kinds of berserk updates.
It's so annoying. How can you expect to find a small server for your friend(s) to follow you in? How will you meet new people? What if there is something in the current server you are in and do not like? Or what if you are trying to follow someone into a server that you're not friends with? It does not make any improvement or meaning to add this new feature, when it's really just limiting your gaming and socializing again. Roblox still has a lot to explain of their unnecessary chat filter. Roblox is starting to become a real drag now a days that is honestly not motivating to make me go online anymore. Also, before Roblox makes any more updates like this or the chat filters, they NEED to address it less vaguely and have the player's voice in it because after all they should be trying to make this website fun and not 100% child-family friendly, especially if this game is for "All ages". Very sad and disappointed with the Roblox admins. Seriously, let your players and community have a say. Instead of creating all of these unnecessary "improvements" to the website, why not work on the exploits and hackers in your games, or fix the slow servers, or make it so 95% of the hairs do not stick out of your hats, and/or be allowed to change your chat color? Are those things so bad that you don't make any effort into changing those, but almost the entire English language is filtered with hashtags? The hashtags are so insane, that many groups on Roblox have moved to Discord because there, they are allowed to speak freely and un-filtered, ##### ##### and many more options than the current group layout has to offer on Roblox. Cuss words are highly understandable, but now a days it seems like 9/10 sentences are blocked with hashtags. Back to the main topic, please, remove this new "Friend-Server only update" please.
In conclusion, Roblox is ruining their own website with limits, such as filtering most of the English Language, adding the new "Friend-Server" update just recently, and most importantly, removing Tix so they can earn more money because "Group currency" some how got in the way of mucking up the old Roblox currency when there were only Robux, Tix, and Trading. So Roblox removed the cheapest and free way for players to earn money, and to have little kids cry and beg to their parents to waste their money on a game. Unacceptable...
