ESPN is a company in the business of making money. They will show anything at any time if given the demographic will watch.
ESPN has on several occasions televised:
spelling bees.
Hot Dog eating competitions.
whatever game the phillies are playing cuz that's not baseball.
poker
several esports
None of those I classify as true sports. the rest are psuedo-sports or competitive games. |
