How about instead of only being able to spawn the free model in studio, the studio could also offer an option to teach the player who wants to use the model how to build/script it?
The studio would show you what scripts to type, how to type them, and what order they go in when you select this second option. And if there's any blocks in the model, it would show you where to place them, and what to do with them to make the free model.
You're probably asking "How would this help players in studio?"
It would help them by telling them step by step how some of the more complicated free models work, so that they learn advanced scripting/building techniques that the traditional ROBLOX tutorials on the ROBLOX Blog site don't teach. When they learn some of these amazing and complicated scripting/building techniques from other complicated free models, they can take what they have learned, and use it somewhere else, in a different way, or on a different model they made, allowing them to innovate, improve, and possibly make something original out of the scripts and techniques they learned from someone else's free model.
This would be optional instead of forced, so that players who still want to fill their game with free models without learning how to build it themselves could still put these models in their games without having it take away hours of their time.
Other than having too many people use one scripting/building technique, I don't see many problems with this suggestion. Would be hilarious though if this gets implemented, and everyone ended up building just like loleris. |
