The New People's Army is a leftist insurgency that formed in 2062 following divisions within the CDF between more moderate majority and extremist minority about the nature of the CDF. The extremist members of the CDF were dissatisfied with the neutrality of the organisation when it came to both expansion and the USCPF- for whom they possessed hostile views towards as a result of the organisations hatred for mutants as well as its defense of the old form of government which they partially blame for the flash. The group has three main goals, the preservation of civilian life, dismantlement of the USCPF and allies, and to ensure the expansion of leftist ideas across the United States. Due to the collected nature of the group, it has managed to sustain itself all the way up to the events of D6. |
