Time immemorial - or within the time frame of groups in general - many a man, woman and child dictated they were not up to the task because they "didn't have the skill." The only thing they didn't have was the will to better themselves.
Skill isn't a talent, it's a development. Skill is forged through rigorously slogging through game after game, acquiring controls and technique, and simply "not having the skill" is truthfully "I'm unwilling, or lack the confidence to persevere and reap what I've sown."
Or, perhaps, change your controls. If you're using a mousepad to gunfight, purchase a cheap wired mouse and experiment.
Never, ever say "I'm not good enough." Instructors in my unit will respond with "We'll make you good enough." |
