Taris was a polluted urban planet located in the Outer Rim. Although Taris was a heavily populated planet the surface itself was polluted with wrecked starships and dense, overgrown swamps.. Makeshift tenements made of shipping containers and crashed starships stacked on top of one another, while yellow smog drifted in the atmosphere. The elite of the planet dwelled in nicer skyscrapers. __________________________________________________________________________________
Hello, so you may be wondering, why should I be a senator, I mean he looks like a every other guy, what can he really offer to the republic. First in republic hands, than sith hands, finally being freed. But think to yourself, it must be useful somehow, and it could be. I'd like to say second off is that the republic can use recources left on that planet from the sith. I reliaze that this is against the jedi order, but if one day thet jedi would turn on us, we would have the ancient sith power to stop them.
__________________________________________________________________________________ Second reason. the Republic didn't build there for nothing, actually, it had many, many buildings and more, until it was destroyed. Other mmight call it "Coruscant of the Outer Rim".
__________________________________________________________________________________ One more thing, this planet was a outer rim planet, witch the republic needs for supply runs, closer to allies, ect.
