(Posting here since S&I got removed) 1. It makes it harder for new developers to get started, as FilteringEnabled scripting is harder than non-FE scripting. They can't even find it otherwise! My account is 13+ and I still can't find it! 2. Censoring even more words??? really??? 3. It makes it harder for <13 people to find old games they are interested in as FilteringEnabled didn't exist in 2012, for example. 4. All non-FE games die! I can't even search for my non-FE swordfighting game! 5. They could just have a game settings panel with options like: - Game Security - Protect against exploiters [auto checked] - Don't protect against exploiters (not recommended) - Filtering Level - Low (not recommended) - Curse words and ########## words only - Medium - 13+ blacklist - High - <13 whitelist 6. It panders to the youngest generation. |
