Most of the rules are common sense but the things that are hard to understand are stated below. Roleplay - Most standard roleplay actions are done with "He'd pick up a gun" or every dialogue is done in quotes. Personally I find that anoying but you can roleplay like that if you want to. The standard way communication of roleplay in Nocturne is everything that is chatted without quotes or anything is dialogue and anything in asterisks *picks up gun* is roleplay. If you'd like to talk outside of roleplay, start your conversation with "(" to have an aside. Keeping it simple as possible. Safe Zones - In the Nocturne Network, there's really no such thing as a safe zone. Raiders can attack the main town in Windchill and anything could happen but there are places where you will be put in jail for disobeying the rules if caught by law enforcement. The main town is the only law enforced regulated area in Windchill. It's possible to get into fights with people there without getting banned but if you do so, expect the law to step in. Action Combat - First thing and most important thing in a post apocalyptic roleplay is the system of combat. The one thing we need to erase from history is the use of standard RP combat Example:*Punches him in the face*. The way we're going to fix this is by adding weapons that actually kill and instead of saying "Don't random kill". We're letting you kill anyone you want as long as you have a reason. Maybe you're robbing them, maybe they robbed you, who knows. The only rule is confrontation must be involved first. You can't sneak up on someone and you can't just start randomly shooting. One more important thing is, if you die in combat you can't respawn and hunt down the person who killed you. Devs and mods are not immune to the combat system either and they can't ban you for initiating combat with them. Confronting - When confronting someone for combat, you should draw a melee weapon and threaten, warn, interrogate, etc. to give them an option or a way of handling things. If they run, you can chase them down, if they draw their weapon you can initiate combat. Ranged weapons can only be used in a 1v1 duel with the person you're confronting but you have to specify (Ranged?) in chat. The way ranged combat works is both sides will get to cover after the confrontation and the battle will begin. Raiding - If you're playing as someone who raids bases, there are no real rules to raiding. Confrontation is not in place when attacking a large base with people in it whether they're friendly or not. They're able to attack you just as much as you are able to attack them. Defending - If you're playing as someone who is defending a base, you have the choice to be violent off the bat without any confrontation. This is the only time you will be allowed to kill randomly but it's only justified if you have multiple people in a base that you've set up. The choice is yours on how you handle outsiders. Take them prisoner, shoot them, warn them to get off your turf. Whatever you want to do. Getting Weapons - Weapons in the game are essential to combat players and to people who want to defend themselves but they aren't easy to come by. If you want weapons, you have to go to the Sandpaper Factory game to purchase them and yes, they're expensive. https://www.roblox.com/games/632018296/Sandpaper-Factory SEND ALL QUESTIONS TO AGENTWOLFHOUND! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ISSUE NO.3301
