[ 1 ] July 24th 2039 - January 31st 2041
The Vernetti Syndicate is a loosely connected group of contractors that first formed in July 24th, 2039 with the demand of military presence in attack prone areas. They were usually used as escorts for low value targets, and defense of unknown scrap towns throughout the wasteland. In the beginning, most contractors were highly unskilled and few in number, with not even a leader that the contractors could all agree on.
[ 2 ] February 1st, 2041 - March 22nd, 2043
This would change one day on February 1st, 2041, whereas a small group of these contractors stumbled across the ###### Street Station', approximately 6.5 miles away from the now currently dubbed Ven Station. The station was vastly abandoned, with no clear civilian populous near it. The station was taken over in a few minutes, after surveying that the area was secure. A radio broadcast was cast from the top of the station to all nearby Vernetti Syndicate contractors, and slowly but surely the syndicate members became coming in droves. The station was heavily fortified, and rooms were blasted into the walls to make more space. The station was named 'ALPHA - 1' after the modifications, changing history for the Vernetti Syndicate forever.
[ 3 ] March 23rd, 2043 - March 24th, 2043
In the dead of the night of March 23rd, 2043, raiders would advance onto the ALPHA - 1 base on Intel that the base would be less defended. it was to be an easy victory for these raiders, but instead they were met with a grueling battle. The first wave would come from the north, whereas a new contractor guarding the north entrance at the time would go on to alert the rest of the members in the base. The raiders Intel was right, unfortunately, as the syndicate members were outnumbered 3 to 1. However, through the bravery of the contractors currently located in the base, the defense against the raiders was a success. During the battle, the staircase leading to the station was blown to smithereens in order to halt any further waves from flanking the defensive positions. After the battle, a formal declaration of aggression was placed on the strangely organized group of raiders, which were identified as 'The Jackals.'
[ 4 ] March 25th, 2043 - December 23rd, 2043
Throughout the months following the attack on ALPHA - 1, the contractors were hunting down the jackals to the last man. Their main base was located and quickly destroyed with a few wastelander anarchists aiding in the battle. The raider base would be captured and sold to the wastelander anarchists for cheap. The extermination of 'The Jackals' would lead to a sense of fear resonating from Syndicate through the years to come.
[ 5 ] Present Day
The Vernetti Syndicate now stand where raiders fear to attack them, and major factions have begun to recognize the large contractor group. The leader, commonly known as the Overseer, looks over all Syndicate territory in his office at ALPHA - 1 with a fair yet fair grip. Contractors apart of the Syndicate now exist across the ruins of the United States, able to complete jobs for other factions at a mere minutes notice. Former enemies of the Syndicate now cower into hiding, scared of the fate that may come to them.
