1. The best way to march is 3 columns, highly suggested , for narrow paths, 1 column.
a. Squad Leaders: Each row has a Squad leader, the first man of the row is a squad leader.
b. Commander: Is on the left side of the formation calling commands and marching the formation.
c. The troops in formation: filed in from the right to left and dress off properly. Aligned to the person on the right.
1-3. Marching a Formation
a. Column Rights and lefts: A column right is when a formation takes a hard turn to the right like an L. The most inward man makes a sharp turn to the right, The middle man makes two pivet turns and the last man makes 3. Make sure that the inside and middle man takes half steps for the other squads to catch up.
Step 1: Commander calls everyone to attention unless already have done so.
Step 2. Commander says "Foward March" (none of that prepare stuff)
Step 3. When you want a formation to halt. The commander will say (Formation size) Halt.
