You'd want to use a system that you can keep on 24/7. It'd bog your family pc if the site ever gets big. I'd recommend grabbing a raspberry pi and loading it up on there. This is an automated signatiure. Current project, GSR

If you use X10Hosting, it's a free and pretty reliable host. Runs on Apache using PHP.

yea thats why most people buy independent servers which are fairly cheap if you have a job tbh

^ You shouldn't really "buy" a server, but you can find companies that rent out dedicated virtual servers for amazingly cheap. DO (Digital Ocean) allows you to rent a dedicated virtual server with terminal access for just $5 a month. I recommend them.
