THE STATE OF DOCKLANDS GOVERNMENT

The Statutory Clause in the Congressional Motions within the State of Docklands Constitution under the State of Docklands Government is the following:
Motions are requests made by congressional members during a session. Officiated Motions and the terms of symbols authorized by the State of Docklands Constitution can be found below:
TERMS:
When two thirds of the House or Senate is required for a motion, the symbol is defined as (⅔)
When one-half or fifty-one percent of the House or Senate is required for a motion, the symbol is defined as (½)
When a motion is require a second, the symbol is defined as (Y)
When a motion does not require a second, the symbol is defined as (N)
When a motion requires the decision of the presiding officer, the symbol is defined as (P)
MOTIONS:
To motion a debate (Y+ ½) → open the floor for discussion
To table a piece of legislation (Y + ½) → intermit reflection of a bill
To take from the table (Y + ½) → re-opens debate on tabled legislation
To call a refine (N + ½) → To modify or withdraw a motion
To call a previous question (Y + ⅔) → to move into immediate voting
To recess (Y + ½) → to halt a session for specific amount of time
To reconsider (Y + ⅔) → to consider a defeated motion
To rescind (Y + ⅔) → to repeal a previous action in the congressional session before the session is officially adjourned
To adjourn (Y + ½) → to end the session
To appeal a decision of the chair (Y + ½) → allows chamber to override the presiding officer’s ruling
To divide a motion (Y + ½) → to consider its parts into separate motions which are debated and voted on separately.
To amend (Y + ⅔) → to modify a piece of legislation on the docket
To amend an amendment (Y + ⅔) → to modify an amendment that's in law; both chambers required
To limit or extend debate → to shorten or prolong a debate for specific amount of time
To arise a point of inquiry (Y + ½) → to question the presiding officer
To arise a point of order (N + P) → to determine correct procedural rules are being followed
To arise a point of personal privilege (N + P) → allows chamber to have private session
