There's a lot of things that work that you shouldn't use. I remember reading on some announcement thread on the dev forum that the method I linked above isn't as prone to getting the "N/A" image instead of the player's actual thumbnail. Either way, when Roblox makes new ways to do things there's a reason there's a new way. Most (or all) of the time, you should use the newer method.
