1. reinstall roblox
2. reinstall your video drivers
should work by doing one, or both of them |

Dans leave the community you toxic little child, stop calling people idiots.
It may not be your graphics card's fault, ROBLOX hasn't updated their engine in a while and APIs like Metal or VULKAN are malfunctioning, your card is probably not being fully read or detected, you can try reinstalling your card's drivers but that would hardly help with any of this. It may also be that you are running on a laptop, laptops with two graphics processors have problems with games like ROBLOX. Usually, it's something like Intel GMA HD + Some old mobile graphics processor, it causes problems because the GMA Is used a display caster and the other GPU is used for rendering, ROBLOX's client get's confused because it can't read the card or some other error like not being able to send render instructions to the card due to unsupported APIs.

why would i leave lol.
me>you
and "APIs like Metal or VULKAN are malfunctioning,"
what does that have to do with roblox??? roblox isn't using any of those APIs
your statement is horribly laughable
"two graphics processors have problems with games like ROBLOX. "
earth2idiot, ROBLOX has no crossfire/sli support (although AMD is going to rebrand crossfire to mGPU soon).
but, anyways: roblox uses one GPU, not two. it has a cap at 60, it doesn't need two, so the devs didn't put the support in for it.
i know that because i have two 1080s running in crossfire, with ryzen 7 1700x overclocked to 4.1ghz, no probs at all.
your explanation is not hardware based, it's software based. stop giving a paragraph to a problem that doesn't exist in this case. |

You are one of the stupidest children I have ever seen on the forums, your lack of knowledge about technology just disturbs me.
ROBLOX Uses those APIs, it mostly auto selects what's best for your graphics card, but you can also manually select it in studio settings. For example, if you have a Mac you will be using the Metal API.
You are probably very dumb and don't understand anything about multi-GPU use or hardware in general, I'm not talking about SLI or Crossfire (Let's also not forget how your childish brain came up with a failed attempt to lie about your specs, NVIDIA Doesn't have CrossFire, it has SLI)
Laptops and some pre-built systems utilize two graphics processors, one for display casting one for rendering. Mostly it's two different GPUs, like Intel GMA HD and a mid-range NVIDIA GPU, they aren't running in SLI, one is doing the texture rendering the other one is refreshing your display and that may cause conflicts with older engines.
You can use SLI in ROBLOX, it wouldn't decrease your performance and wouldn't make it better, ROBLOX relies on your processor cores to do the heavy lifting.
Please read my previous post before, it all links up to ROBLOX's outdated APIs and engine. Don't argue if you know nothing about the topic.

Alright, firstly, I guarantee I'm older than you.
I used to work as a NCIX Techniqution here in Canada. However, due to university, I quit that job.
I'm smarter than you when it comes to technology. I follow just about every reviewer, read articles, etc. I've built endless custom PCs for clients, and have 4 custom rigs for home usage.
Idiot, ROBLOX CANNOT use SLI/Multi-GPU support. It is NOT implemented by ROBLOX. You cannot force SLI support; ROBLOX will ignore all your settings that you try to force it through the NVIDIA panel.
I tried to see if it worked via Crossfire (I Have another system with Crossfire)--that didn't work too.
All it takes is a simple google search to tell you that ROBLOX has no multi-GPU support.
ROBLOX staff will tel you too.
...and I know ROBLOX uses an API idiot. It uses DX11. It is, however, compatible with older DX revisions.
If you read what I said (which I doubt you can read), I said ROBLOX does not use Metal or Vulkan.
Please get out of technical support, as you're clearly clueless on how the world works. |
