No there is Spanish from Mexico (a.k.a Mexican) Spanish from South America and Spanish from Spain (a.k.a castellian) And yes there is differences in words and punctuation.

You forgot Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Cuba etc...

They got some different words and different pronunciation, but they still are the same language.
