Steam’d - Rank Descriptions Join Steam'd today! https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=3484700 These rank descriptions are to give a “run-down” of each rank in Steam’d, along with their duties and and responsibilities. This is put into place to ensure the organization and development of the staff team. --------------- [CUSTOMER-LEAD BARISTA] Customer - Customers are supporters of Steam’d. They stay at the cafe, or are just there to support the group. We thank you! Noted Customer - Noted Customers are important members that have joined Steam’d, friends of the owners, or former HRs. Trainee - Trainee is the first “barista” level in Steam’d. They are required to stay behind the counter to work. To get promoted to Junior Barista, they MUST attend a training. Junior Barista - Junior Barista is the second “barista” level in Steam’d. They are required to stay behind the counter to work. To get promoted to Barista, they MUST attend a training. Barista - Barista is the third “barista” level in Steam’d. They are required to stay behind the counter to work. To get promoted to Senior Barista, they MUST acquire at least 600 points. Senior Barista - Senior Barista is the fourth “barista” level in Steam’d. They are required to stay behind the counter to work. To get promoted to Lead Barista, they MUST acquire at least 800 points. Lead Barista - Lead Barista is the fifth “barista” level in Steam’d. They are required to stay behind the counter to work. To get promoted to Staff Assistant, they MUST show themselves and will be sent a Staff Assistant exam by the Executive of Staff or the Managing Director, when recognized. [STAFF ASSISTANT-ADVISORS] Staff Assistant - Staff Assistants assist in trainings, and is allowed to check applications. SAs assist at the cafe and are required report any unusual or surreal activity to their advisor. Supervising Staff - The Supervising Staff supervises the lower rank staff behind the counter, along with assisting and helping at the cafe. They also assist with staff trainings, along with checking applications. The Supervising Staff reports to the ST/MT Advisor. Management Staff - The Management Staff manages the lower ranks behind the counter, along with assisting and helping at the cafe. They also assist with staff trainings, along with checking applications. The Management Staff reports to the ST/MT Advisor. Advisors - Each advisor manages a specific rank within Steam’d and are assigned to advise the operations for that rank. Advisors are to write weekly reports about their rank that they are advising, and are to report to the Head of Advisors for approval. They assist at the cafe, along with staff trainings and checking applications. They MUST ATTEND at least one out of three monthly advisor meetings. [HEAD OF ADVISORS-EXECUTIVE STAFF] Head of Advisors - The Head of Advisors manages the Advisors. They review their activity and weekly reports. The Head of Advisors decides who will join the Advisors, and must get approval from the Managing Director with any staff-related inquires. They MUST ATTEND all three monthly meetings, and must “head” them. Along with managing advisor duties, they host trainings and check applications, along with managing the cafe. Development Team - The Development Team consists of builders, scripters, and GFX artists that are hired by Steam’d. The only responsibility they have is to develop and report to the President. Executive Staff - The Executive Staff consists of three positions: Executive of Communications, Executive of Operations, and the Executive of Staff. Each executive manages their own department. They are not required to host trainings or applications. They are required to assist and manage the cafe, along with reporting to the Executive Director. [MANAGING DIRECTOR-PRESIDENT] Managing Director - The Managing Director manages the cafe and is the prime staff disciplinarian for Steam’d. The Managing Director works with the Executive of Staff to organize ALL staff, along with executing the necessary rules and information for staff. The Managing Director is in charge of viewing the session Trello board every week, and will make changes as needed. They also manage the cafe, along with working with the Executive Director and the Vice President. Executive Director - The Executive Director manages all aspects of the group. The Executive Director works with the Executive Staff to execute the each department’s duties and decisions. The Executive Director also is in-charge of all Executive Staff members and has the final say regarding them. The ED also manages the cafe, oversees trainings, and the application process. The Executive Director works closely with the Managing Director and the Vice President. Vice President - The Vice President duties are very similar to the President’s. The Vice President manages all staff relations, along with operations (working with Managing Director & Executive Director). The Vice President reports back to the President with any important information they might have. They supervise the group, along with ALL aspects of the group. President - The President is the surreal leader of the group. They have the final decision of everything. The Managing Director, Executive Director, and Vice President work together to fulfill the President’s duties and commands. The President runs the group, yes, but the Managing and Executive Director, along with the Vice President have more say than the President combined. --------------- These are ALL the descriptions for each rank.
