"Ah..., nice name," John said.
(I like using 3rd person for my books... 3rd person limited) |

(I have never used third person before...)
Natalie loos at John "So what are you? A Sargent, private, etc?" |
|
|
"A Corporal," John replied, taking a quick look at his gun. "Time for another coat of spraypaint."
(PS: You used 3rd person right after you said that you never used it before.)
(My mom made me take a shower.) |

(Yes because I was trying it)
"You spray paint it?" I asked confused. |
|
|
"Yes, i often replace bits and pieces of this gun, and usually i dont paint those peices beforehand, so the colors dont quite match. So i spraypaint it every once in a while to get the colors to match," John stated. |

I arrived at the docking bay, seeing the commander already there I went through the normal formalities.
Alexi
I returned the private's solute. I had seen this one around base from time to time. He was early, not something I would have expected. |

"Ah." I say as I focus my shotgun on the target. |

I knew this would be routine, nothing but. I would greet them and shunt them off onto the private and sergeant. speaking of which were was that sergeant?
Jeremy
I had never felt comfortable around the commander, for some reason he strikes me as the Soviet Union type. |

John waited until Natilie took her shot, then fired into the centermost spot a few seconds afterward. |

I saw the seargent arrive. I had seen him a few time before but not much as he worked mostly in engineering. |

(Are you refering to John? He is a corporal.) |

(no, the searent is an NPC. I sort of play him but he is a bit player.) |
|
|
John stood back after firing his shot at Natilie's target. He said "I think i am gonna go repaint my gun for the 24th time, before i forget." |
|
|
John eventually got back to his room and went to his specail spaypainting area with his sniper rifle. He took the bayonette off and then proceded to spraypaint the gun black. After he did so, he tinkered with the infered scope he found and eventaully tested it. He decided to get to george so he could make a custom electronics board (He does that quite a bit) that would allow him to switch between multiple camera veiws with the remote control vehicle. |

Basic bio for George (He is a semi npc)
Name: George
Rank: Civilian
Bio: A scientist that John often turns to for the large machinery he owns, and George often does favors, due to the "Near death incident" that happened when John saved his life. Likes to see what John is working on every once in awhile, and John knows this. Also doesnt particularily like the sight of blood.
Items: Element analyzer, advanced 3d printer, Circutboard maker, and several other machines in his lab, lab clothing, and some lab equipment as well as a panic button on himself.
Weapons: Stunner and L92 combat pistol with stunning ammo. (After the "Incident" George always has at least the stunner on hand.)
George also rigged the gun so that he can switch between stunning and hi voltage stunning bullets with a switch. (The high voltage ones are loaded like a one shot.)
This is as much as i am giving right now. Enought to get an idea who he is. |

(I had designed the weapons for military useage. The only one available to him would be the pistol. The stunning ammo for the L92 is actually tranquilizers that you load into the special ammo slots. But accepted.) |

(L92s however are excessively hard to modify, but the L99, also dugged the "liberator III" is really easy, but it is less accurate and fires with a lot less power. It has an accurate range of 40 feet. It was intended for use by rebels to kill a single enemy soldier and then take said enemy's weapons. However due to the ease associated with modifying it many L99s stayed on the battlefield |
|
|
(Alright, i am sure that John probably would have an L99 since he modified his sniper rifle alot so it was lighter. He is a metalwork fan. Also, George probably could have made even better tranquilizers. So lets just say that John installed the machinery on George's L92)
John picked up his remote control vehicle and infered camera, and headed off to ask George for another favor. After a long walk and a sore arm, he reached George's lab.
"Hey, whats that?"
"Its the remote control vehicle i've been working on."
"Oh, found that gear? Wait, what is that?"
"Thats the camera," John said, setting the vehicle down, and pointing to it.
"No, whats that you are holding?"
"Oh, thats an infered camera."
"Planning on adding multiple camera modes?" George asked sugesstively.
"Yes..." John said, expectedly.
George grabbed a circuit plate and handed it to John. "I figured you would want it." John stood back in surprize.
"Thanks, but i wasnt expecting it that fast."
"You're welcome," George headed back towards a small cargo transport for hallway use (Thats the kind of machinery he would own) and loaded John's project onto it. John hopped on and George drove it towards his room, with John giving security clearance. After reaching his room, John gave George a 1 time use clearance pass to return to the civilian section.
(Also, i am sure John's L99 is probably the canvass for testing modifications before he tries to modify his 92. This addition of an additional weapon is a "Its just him" thing.)(I also thinking he might have 2, in case he really messes up.) |
|
|
(Seriously, i insist John has gotten at least one L99 from somewhere in his military carrer. Maybe one of his comrads had one and he died... so John took it to help himself out in that situation because he was low on ammo. Whatever.)
John went inside the room and rewired the circuits. Then he realized he also had another smaller curcuit board too and realized it was for the remote control. So he wired that one in too. John soon found everything in order with the testing, and was glad there was 8 more slots left in that circuitboard, for even more cameras. (Although he didnt think he could possibly need all of them. He figured George thought the same thing.) "Sweet, now i can pilot this
thing in the dark!"
He then put the project away and hooked up the charging cord, afterwards locking the trunk. He decided to look for random metal bits and picked one up. "Wow... this should weigh 10 pounds, but it feels like it weighs 10 ounces. I should have George figure out what this is made of, it could make my sniper rifle even lighter!" John decided to get some sleep first, locking the door and setting the metal part on the table. |
|
|
(Gonna post agian tommarow...)
(John has ALOT of random parts in his trunks. Fortunately, they arent that cluttered, but they are cluttered enough that he could find almost anything in there, as long as it isnt something that is already made. I dont think he will ever look in his trunk and go "So there is where i put my L92!")
(John also spent some time learning how to connect wires up with George. He feels alot better not having to go to him for everything since then.)
(Why do i feel like i am putting a bunch of random information about my charecter in this post?)
(John also has assorted wires in a cabinent. He usually has 3 or 4 of each type in there, as well as a bunch of converters.)
(John also has a humaniod robot he built... unfortunately he didnt armor it well enough and it took a shot to the head so it is no longer functioning... and he never got around to fixing it. It is in his secret closest. John does have one, but he forgot he had it. Oh well... dont think hes gonna remember that robot anytime soon.)
(John also has a rocket launcher in the same closet. Lets just say the robot used it in combat.)
(Uhh... is this post a little to long for a post that says i am gonna post again tommarow?)
(I ran out of things to put here, so i will end this post here.) |

After his nap, John picked up the metal peice, checked on his sniper rifle and made sure the coat was even, and then he unlocked the door and walked over to Georges lab to have him analyze it. When he reached the lab, he noticed the doors were locked, so he figured George was in his room sleeping. John thus went to George's sleeping quarters and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" George said drowzily.
"John."
"Come in." John opened the door and came in. "What do you want?" George said half asleep.
"I want you to analyze this metal bit. It is incredibly light. Also, i would like it if you could do some tests on it."
"Alright, set it on my desk... and lock the door on your way out," George said, tucking himself under the covers afterward. John did exactly what George said, then went back to the military quarter. '

After reaching his room, John decided to test out a specail sniper rifle bullet. He started wiring up a cylindrical device that would go inside a bullet that would generate a small electric current on impact. Then he made a casing for it and made the front part for it, designing it to be strong enough to resist the wind in flight, but weak enough to disignegrate on impact. (Basically, its a tazer bullet. It might leave a bruise, but if you want your target alive a bruise is better than a bullet hole.) Then he made some bullets with identical weight and design of the "tazer bullet". Then he picked up his sniper rifle and attached the bayonent back on and procceded to go back to the firing range.
(He is looking for the bullets to not actually punch through the target's body, i mean, what is the point of having bullets with an electric charge to stun you if they kill you first?)
While walking there, John loaded one of the non electrically charged specail bullets in his newly repainted rifle, so he could test it out once he got a target at the firing range.
|
|
|
After reaching the firing range, John quickly fired a shot at a random target.
Thump.
John noticed the bullet did not penetrate the target, exactly what he wanted. (He was making tazer bullets) Also, the target wasnt badly damaged. So John thus considered the test a success.
BOOM! The majority of the room fell silent.
John looked over towards somebody with a missile launcher. He heard a random person yell "What ARE you, CRAZY?" John couldnt help but stare. |

(O_O)
I heard a boom and went into the firing room and saw the person with a rocket "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" I yelled |
|
|
John just stood there as everybody started throwing insults at the guy with a rocket launcher. He thought about getting out of there, but decided to do the responsible thing and calm everyone down.
"Excuse me, if you would all let me through so i can take this guy to security, i am sure he will get the appropriate punishment then, so let me through," John said, getting to the guy with the rocket launcher and taking him to the proper authorities. |
