Before the Combines begin on Monday, I'd like to make it clear on how coaching should be handled, seeing that I'm going to be part of this Draft Class, I can't really be working on both. Positional Coaches: Let's be clear on one thing, the combine isn't meant for Coaches to improve their players, if anything the term "Coach" is being misused. As a positional coach, your one and only priority is to Grade players, give them tips here and there, but don't try to flat out alter the way they play. It's a combine, so your main goal is to be able to grade them based off what they have to offer. This isn't a time for players to be taught, but instead it's a time for players to show off what skills they've acquired over the past OCFA season. Instructions for W1 of the Combine: Throughout the first week of the combine there should be no O v D, the entire week is solely filled with drills designed for each position. Offense should stay in the Offensive field and Defense should remain in the Defensive field. Coaches should Refrain from forcing themselves in these drills, the combine is solely for prospects, therefore keep interference to a minimum. If it seems like you're solely in the combine to have fun and troll, you will be removed from that position immediately. 5 minutes after the combine begins, the server should be locked. Each positional coach should run their players through drills that'll test as many skills as possible, primarily ones that are required to be a success in OFL. Combines should last no longest than 2 Hours. At the end of each combine Grades should be provided for each and every single player, meaning prior to starting the combine a list should be made to all that show up. Once the week ends, Coaches should have a list of all players in the position that their coaching, in order from the best grade to the worst. This list should also include the amount of combines each player has showed up to (I suggest making a list for each combine, then transferring that to a spreadsheet) Based off how many prospects there are a cutoff line will be made, pushing the best into the following week. (Cutoff line will be decided later) Players need to show up to at least 2 combines per week to be eligible to move onto the next round. I know this sounds like a lot of work, but you not only get a first hand look at potential draft picks, but you also get PAID!!!! W2 instructions will be provided later. Questions? DM me on xDixcord.
