Because when old computers lose compatibility, it makes games such as roblox lag. Also because old computer use a lot of RAM

Depending on how big the update was. If it were huge, it would take some time for it to stop putting pressure.

Roblox rely on CPU more than RAM. Should be 2.5GHz or more.

Task manager or some setting that tells you about the CPU and old computers can have high CPU too. High things in task manager is a bad thing. It causes your lag. Even if roblox ##### on CPU, when that thing is high in task manager. That means not only does it lag but the high disk usage could make the lag bigger. Old computers use too much RAM and storage. (If you have a lot of apps downloaded on the PC)

Sometimes the CPU goes over that number. That is what most old computers do. And what I mean by old computers is like the Windows XP

Lmao I was laughing at all of you, especially at Awpf. RAM Has barely any effect on your overall system performance, it's just a fast temporary cache used by your processor or integrated GPU to temporary store and quickly retrieve data like textures etc.. OP's problem is unknown, but if he says it's an old computer it may be an old processor / graphics card. The minumum amout of RAM to play roblox is 2 GBs, in modern gaming you will struggle with 4GBs and even 8 GBs is somehow being slowly replaced with 16 GBs. The best budget ROBLOX PC would be a dual core processor with four threads, 2-4 GBs of RAM and you COULD use integrated graphics but I would recommend a low-end graphics card like the GT 710. I've seen a popular combination that involved a Pentium (G) 4560, Four GBs (no type because the filter system is angery) and a GT 710 which is a pretty popular card that is mostly used for a budget card that isn't bottlenecked and kicks intel hd's awss in performance. // ASUS GTX 1070 STRIX / i7 6700K

"Lmao I was laughing at all of you" sounds like a smart #### ### have i7 6700k "RAM Has barely any effect on your overall system performance" that's what I said, lol? if you check in task manager, roblox takes upto 30% or more CPU utilization.
