How to train: (first ask trainees if they have questions) ~First Time (or re-training) Barista~ As a junior barista, you will be responsible for giving out food to hungry customers. You may not eat the food yourself. If you are caught eating treats, you will be warned not to. There are various snacks to give to customers, everything from ice cream to coffee. Tell trainees to remember GRAMMAR AT ALL TIMES AND TO BE NICE TO HELPERS AND TRAINERS!!!!!!!! When a customer walks up to the counter, make sure to greet them with a friendly hello. To give a customer their food, select the food item from where it is being stored. Then, on the side of your screen there is a "give" tool. While holding the item in your hand that the customer ordered, click their name in the list of players. They will receive a notification asking if this is what they ordered. If the customer clicks "yes", they will end up with the food item in their hand. IF YOU CATCH A TROLLER HACKING or think you see one, then you tell an MR/HR IMMEDIATELY! They will either kick or ban them. Remember, hackers/trollers/exploiters get NO WARNINGS! If someone is being rude or not listening to cafe rules/staff, start by giving them a warning, stating what they have done wrong. (ex- W1: Rude to staff.) Once/If they get to 3 warnings, report them to an MR/HR. Go through a role play and see if the trainee remembers what they are supposed to do. Tell trainees to use proper grammar and act as if this was in the real cafe. If they get 3 grammar errors, they automatically fail. If in the role play they answer questions incorrectly, they will also fail. After the role play, you will do a troll test. Tell trainees this is also like in the real cafe and to use grammar. Make sure trainees give reasons with explanations to why the rude customer is not following cafe rules, or immediately calling MR/HR when there is a hacker. If the trainee did good, with either no/little mistakes, passing both role play and troll tests, and are nice to staff, they pass! Give 'em a pat on the back and tell them they will soon be ranked. ~Janitor~ As a janitor, you will clean up customers' messes. To clean up, select either a broom or a vacuum from the staff area. If a customer requests you to clean their table, do so. All tables should be clean before customers come. You will also have to clean the floor and the ordering counter. TELL TRAINEES TO REMEMBER PROPER GRAMMAR AND TO BE NICE TO STAFF!! IF YOU SEE A TROLLER/EXPLOITER/HACKER, give them no warnings and report them to an MR/HR right away! The result of this will be the MR/HR either banning them or kicking them. If a customer is being rude or not following cafe rules, give them a warning. (ex: W1- Yelling in caps.) If they are continuously not listening and you gave them three warnings, call and MR/HR and they will be either kicked or banned from the game. Finally, do a role play test. Tell trainees that in this role play they are to act as if it were in the real cafe, so use grammar and be kind to trainers. Also remind them that if they get a question wrong, it will deduct their chance of getting the job and they only have 3 grammar mistakes. Three strikes, and they're out! (For role play, have the helper act as a customer and ask the trainee to clean their table.) Lastly, there will be a troll test. Again, tell trainees to act as if it were in the real cafe. (Have helpers act as an unkind customer.) Make sure the trainee gives three warnings and then calls MR/HR. If the trainee answered multiple questions wrong or used improper grammar more than 3 times, then they automatically fail. If the trainee has almost no grammar mistakes and answered most questions right, they pass! Give 'em a pat on the back and tell them they will be ranked soon.
