This Training guide contains information regarding the basic layout of how training sessions typically go and some general information about what you need to do as a trainer at trainings.
- Training Rules -
[1] Grammar is needed at all times, both inside and outside this training. Failing to use correct grammar will result in your failure.
[2] Respect is needed at all times towards your trainer and fellow co-workers. Disrespect is not tolerated.
[3] Pay attention to your trainer for instructions during each section of the training to ensure you are doing everything correctly. You do not want to end up making silly mistakes.
[4] Do not give your order to your trainer until he/she asks for it.
[5] When passed you are to wait on the lines quietly for your promotion. Once promoted, you are dismissed unless told otherwise.
- Promotion Requirements -
Please note that these are the scores required for both halves of the training. You are going to need to earn a specific amount of points in each half to pass. One-half consists of the orders and the other of the trivia questions and troll simulation. Each person is only able to get one promotion per training. You cannot skip ahead of any ranks. For example, if a trainee gets 6/10 at a session, they will still be ranked to junior crew member and not crew member.

Junior Crew Member to Crew Member (4/5+) - (8/10+) in total
Crew Member to Senior Crew Member (5/5) - (10/10) in total
- Trivia -
The trivia consists of three unique questions that pertain to the group. You will be checking for grammar mistakes and making sure they respond to the questions correctly. Below will be three examples of trivia questions; you should change up the questions every time you do trivia, so the answer isn’t always the same.

- Troll Simulation -
The troll simulation is a way of testing the ability of your group on how to deal with a troll at the Restaurant. You should explain to your group what the troll simulation is and that they are to stop responding once they feel they’ve properly handled the troll. You will then begin to act like a troll and responding to your group in the ways a typical troll would. Once everyone has finished the simulation you’ll tell them if they did well or not and what they individually should do to improve and give points to those who you feel sufficiently handled you. Ideally, they should only give one warning to you and then report you to an admin after you continued to troll but give out points as you see fit and repeat the process for the second troll simulation.
- Orders -
You will be doing five orders with your group; each order should be getting slightly more challenging as you go from one order to the next. Only entirely correct orders can receive points. If they get the order correct, you’ll name them with the points they had. An example of this would be naming someone 1/5 for getting their first order correct, and then 2/5 for getting the second order correct. If someone makes a mistake in the order, you should explain what they got wrong and possibly tell them how to make the order if they got a large part of it wrong. If someone ends up failing, you are to tell them that they failed and then dismiss them. Once you have finished the orders, you will either move onto the next half of the training or send those who passed to the lines depending on what half of the training you did first.
