Make textures images half transparent to make them recolorable, also you can use concrete material. It looks like carpet.

I believe he is. And I think you should do it. There is no better way to reinforce an argument than proof. ~{Idiots are fun. No wonder every village wants one.}~

Textures are the best way.

Textures are better. Decals scale horribly. Textures tile so it looks better. ~{Idiots are fun. No wonder every village wants one.}~

Look at shirt called explode in all colors,it transparent so explosion change color to your body colors.Just mess up alpha in paint net and make it onto your gray colored texture. After you make decal change it into texture and put it on a brick with your color.

There is a thing called textures and decals.
DarkLight08
#23964454Friday, April 09, 2010 2:19 PM GMT

And textures are preferable to decals, but you can't create textures. You can only apply a decal to a brick. I think they should make a carpet texture. ~{Idiots are fun. No wonder every village wants one.}~

@darklight: insert>texture In properties of texture add decal link to TextureID.Select texture face and how many studs for one image and voila-You got it!

Seriously? I've never heard of that. ~{Idiots are fun. No wonder every village wants one.}~

I detect sarcasm in that one-Why did you say you cant create textures in previous post?
DarkLight08
#23964703Friday, April 09, 2010 2:25 PM GMT

Because I thought you couldn't. I thought only devs could add textures. So using that method, will it tile instead of stretching? ~{Idiots are fun. No wonder every village wants one.}~

Yes,stretching decals are no more problem to you!Remember to configure studs per tile to suit your texture best.
