Okay. This is a great idea. A tool that looks like a plastic knife or something, and It is only for building in games. It cuts out shapes of anything, you design the shape. It can cut through. Bricks/Truss, Etc. It will be so much easier than CFraming. What do you guys think? |

That will cause lag, I guess. |

@redbuffel
true, bit only a moment of lag and would lag only with complicated shapes and/or large bricks being cut out of.
Iam neither for or against this idea |

AWESOME IDEA!!! I would like this tool :D |
Cool, so you could shape bricks without using meshs right? |
it WOULD be a mesh over the brick (Bricks are meshes and there are 5 .MESH Files called Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg and Torso) |
Eh, this is a good idea in a way... But it would take them a long time to make because they would have to make over 50,000 meshes. |
unless the tool generates the meshes |
Notunknown... And who has to create the tool that has the meshes in it? ROBLOX has to make those meshes scripted in the tool. |
Are you sure? If they make it I think they would make it similar to a 3D Modelling Program like Anim8or or Blender |
it would work, it just needs a bunch of math...
they already made the complex shapes in test server so i think they could make a tool that can edit the parts surfaces on run. |

If they made this, It would be an Awesome fighting tool! You would cut up other Robloxians until one persons Head/Torso is gone! |
It probably wouldnt be a tool in-game but in the Studio |

I thought of this a LONG time ago. No one thought it as a good idea. |
nah, if it was studio only it would sux, because you have the building tools in studio already... |

Hopefully they can! |

Not really worth it. Learn to CFrame. Not that hard... there are CFrame GUIs and tools already. Or you can go old-skool and use the command bar like the pros (and me :P). |
I think CFrame works much better. ut only if you know how to do CFrame. |
