I was in Cherrygrove, looking out at the sea. I was wondering what my next Pokemon would be. Hmm...I'll know when I see it, I suppose. I looked North. Mr. Pokemon's House was my next stop. |

I ran straight ahead of Viridian and started climbing ledges.
(Can I control other NPC's, like the Gym Leaders, Red, and the Day Care Couple?) |

I left the beach and started on my way to Mr. Pokemon's House again. I wonder what he wanted? I was right at the exit of Cherrygrove. |

When I find out that Prof. Elm is offering the egg to someone, I volunteer to take it.

(Maybe. We'll find out when we get there...next place is Violet City, but I'm making a pit stop at Dark Cave.)
"Nice choice, Ruby. That's a very good Pokemon." Elm noticed someone volunteered to take the egg. "You would like it, Fuschia? Well...it probably would be better off with a trainer. You may take it. Now then, both of you should be heading off. Viridian and Cerulean are probably past Mr. Pokemon's house by now!"
Viridian
I was told to stop by Mr. Pokemon' house, so I did before heading out to my next stop, Dark Cave. I walked in the door and saw him and another...Proffesor? "Ah, Viridian, your back! This is my good friend, Proffesor Oak." Mr. Pokemon said. "Hello, Viridian." Oak said. "I study Pokemon, like Elm. I'm Proffesor Oak from Pallet Town, Kanto." He said, getting up. "Anyhow, I want to give you my number for now. Give it to your friends, also. Cerulean, Fuschia, Ruby, and Edge, I believe. I want you to call me when you...accomplish something great. I would give you a Pokedex, but it is only avaliabe for Kanto for now. I gave one to my neighbor, Red, and my grandson, Blue. Your about there age, and you never know, you might meet them sometime..." Oak looked at the clock. "Well, you should be going. Be sure to give my number to you friends. Good luck, and do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." I nodded and waved to both of them, NOW starting my adventure.
(Yes, this story is placed at the same time as Red's adventure. Plot twist OMG. This will be the last big post for a while.) |

I saw Cerulean walk to the gate of Violet City. I saw about to walk that path too, but then I saw an odd cave. There was writing messily engraved in the stone next to it...
"DARK CAVE"
Hmm. Original name. I looked at Cyndaquil. "Cynd." He said, nodding. We were going to take a pit stop. We walked in the cave, and man...the name did not lie. Dark as anything. Cyndaquil burned the flames on his back more feircly, and lit up the cave with a scarlet glow. He jumped on on my shoulder to be like a lanturn. I scratched under his chin and smiled, and continued on through. |
