We were walkingg alone and heard some water gloshing. "Cynd?..." Cyndaquil said curiously. Where would there be wate- !? Ugh...ow...I felt around and could see I fell into the shallow water at the edge. Cyndaquil did too, I could see him run quickly away, but then his fire went out. I got up and shook some water off of me. I looked around and gropped for Cyndaquil. "Cyndaquil!" He said. I got him and picked him up. Great...I can't see anything, and Cyndaquil can't get a fire going. I heard a shreik in the distance, over the water it sounded like. Crap... |

Shriek again. I slowly started feeling my way around, but I bumped into a stalagmite. Ugh. "Zu-za-zaaa!" Woah! That one was loud...huh? I saw something fly through the air, like a light. The cave illuminated for a second, and I saw a ledge. I jumped down it and hoped for another light burst. |

Boom! Wish granted. I slid around a rock blocking my path and found a potion. Nifty. I hopped down another ledge and landed on my knee. I felt my shoulder. "Cynda." He was still safe. Bang! Another light. I could make out the exit...I think. I ran for it, but tripped over a rock...Ow. Cyndaquil jumped off in the nick of time. "Naw-na-zu! Scree!" Something seemed to be pulling on my sleeve. I got up and walked to the exit, picking up CYndaquil on the way. But something...seemed to be follwing me? |

I walked out. Sweet light! I looked at Cyndaquil who fortunely got his fire going again. I walked along to Violet City. "Zu!" Huh? I turned around...and saw a Zubat? "Zu! ZU!" It said, going back to the cave. It seemed to want me to come. I did so, and it illuminated the cave with a supersonic. That was what was making the light! I smiled at it and walked away, but it followed. Did it want to come along? I looked at it curiously. "Zubat!" It said, flying in front of me. I guess it did. Wait...not it, she. She did! I caught up to her and began my way to Violet City. |

I went into the city gate with my new friend. I didn't see Cerulean yet, I guess he was sight-seeing. I went to the PokeCenter and healed, then headed to the gym. |

I was training hard, trying to beat the Gym, but I was very close. I caught a Bellsprout while I was. I quickly headed to the Gym, and I saw Viridian. |

I went into the gym and looked around. Hmm...I walked along and got stopped by a man in a robe-looking thing. "You...you are not allowed to challenge this gym until you conquer Sprout Tower." I looked confused. "You do not know of Sprout Tower? Come." He walked outside the gym. I followed. |
