Los Angeles Right off the bat you can tell this city would be perfect. First, the city is a huge tourism center that has tons of hotels for the fans that will come with the olympics. Along with the beutiful weather it has the one thing that a successful olympics needs, stadiums. The city has two stadiums with capacities over 90,000 (Los Angeles Memorial Colliseum and the Rose Bowl) coupled with the Home Depot Center already makes for some great events. The city also has two Division I colleges with great athletic programs (USC and UCLA.) However how about the indoor stadiums? Well, the city has 4 multi-use indoor arenas (Staples Center, Honda Arena, Los Angeles Memorial Arena, and Anaheim Convention Center) along with the two universities gymnasiums which would host the basketball events. Along with the Pacific Ocean nearby for Rowing and Marathon Swimming So here is the list of all the stadiums with their best sport in parenthesis Outdoor Los Angeles Memorial Colliseum (Athletics&Cerimonies) Rose Bowl (Football) Home Depot Center (Field Hockey/Rugby) Drake Stadium (Field Hockey/Rugby) Home Depot Center (Tennis) Los Angeles Tennis Center (Tennis) Indoor Staples Center (Gymnastics) Honda Arena (Several Indoor Events) Los Angeles Memorial Arena (Indoor Events) Anaheim Convention Center (Indoor Events) Pauley Pavillion (Basketball) Galen Center (Basketball) Other Port of Los Angeles (Rowing&Marathon Swimming) Bel Air Contry Club (If golf is added to the program) The only stadiums that would be needed to be built would be Swimming, Equestrian, BMX, and White Water Kayaking. So, Los Angeles would be a great host for the Olympics.
