Do you know soem great music from the 70's up to the 90's? Well, I think I do. Here are some of my favorite bands and artists from that time period and my favorite for each band: Air Supply (Lost in Love) Alabama (Nothing Comes Closer) The Alan Parsons Project (Days Are Numbers (The Travler)) Asia (Without You) B. J. Thomas (Don't Worry baby) Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band (We've Got Tonight) Bon Jovi (Livin' on a Prayer) Boston (Livin' for You) Def Leppard (Can't decide... XD) Firehouse (Helpless) Foreigner (I Want to Know What Love Is) Garth Brooks (More Than a Memory) GTR (Here I Wait) Journey (Don't Stop Believin') Meat Loaf (The three songs that make up one full song: A Kiss Is a Terrible ____________Thing to Waste, I'd Lie for You (And That's the Truth), and ____________Not a Dry Eye in the House) Metallica (The Unforgiven II) Night Ranger (Four in the Morning) I won't go on any longer... Those bands and artist and many more are on my comp... XD Ask your parents who these bands and artists are, and ask your parents before you listen to any of the songs, though most of them are perfectly safe for you. Only like 1 or 2 of them have even 1 bad word, and that word is not very bad at all, just don't say it. Post your favorite songs here that are from the 70's up to the 90's.

I don't see why Metallica is so great. Their music is repetative in all forms except lyrics. It all sucks. Honestly... I mean there are some songs of Polisiekar (a band here in South Africa) that I can't even tolerate, but stuff like Metallica is just nerve-racking. Don't get me wrong, maybe one good song, but the rest, I've said it more than once already, just SUCKS!

@ Pyn: It is because the guitarists are legendary. Sure they are WAY to over-rateded, but Metallica was also one of the first band to make metal. OT: Anyways, Steve Miller Band is all the way. Jet Airliner Take The Money and Run Rock'n Me Space Cowboy Also, most of the songs you guys are listing are on either guitar hero or rock band. Here's a question: Do you think people that learn songs through GH or Rock Band are true fans?
