I opened my eyes and coughed. I groaned. "What the [bwuk bwuk bu-GAWK] is that crap?" I bit my tongue, and my hazy eyesight didn't improve. My speech slurred. "Whoooo isss yoooouush..." My eyesight went normal, and so did my speech. "Wait a second... you're that kid who was messing with Anna." I groaned and my head started spinning. |

The potion made curious, yet forgetful. I laughed like an idiot. "Ha....hahaha! Wolf ears..." I looked at the man pouring the potion. "Hur...." I fell back, passed out.

I was still sleeping in a tree.... |

I woke up and leaned against the bedpost. "Ugh..." I sat up and looked around. I was in my bedroom. My leg was stitched, my armour, new, sat on a stand, and my sword was resting on my drawer. I groaned and noticed it was still dusk. |

Cari paced the princesses's room nervously, and wondered if she should return to her forest home soon. All of the events happening frightened her, and she longed for the comfort of the shelter of trees and running along her forest friends. |

I pick up the crossbow I built, and fire a random shot. |

I yawned and got up. I changed clothes. Fine, elegant black pants, a white shirt, and a black vest. I put on black leather boots that covered the bend of my feet. I had black gloves on, and I hid a bandit mask in my pocket, so I wouldn't be recognized. I combed my hair neat. I sighed. I walked out of my room, with loud, clomping noises from my boots, and walked into the main room of the castle. I sat there near the door. |

Cari smiled "I guess your right, i'm just a little worried after all of these attacks.. |

I tied the mask on my face and walked out of the castle. I kept a straight face, no smirking, no frown, expressionless. My sword was attached to my back in it's metal case coated in snakeskin. I remembered that I had left a note on my bed. It had read:
To whomever finds this,
I have left for a while, not more than a month, to train. If I was to become a higher rank, I would have to heal and rise in strength, knowledge, and willpower. I shall return, same in appearance personality. I would change inside, and have a new understanding. If you wish to find me, if you need me, or you are in need of something to do, I am in Murlose, a huge city two-nights length from here. It is a completely safe travel, but it can be excruciating. They call it the Forest of Confusion. Many have changed just from the walk, imagine the city. But those of the Royal Family, or whom are being accompanied by a member of the R.F, will not be affected. My best wishes to you all, and Maker watch over you all.

I hung my head as I walked. I thought, What will happen if I'm not there to protect Anna or her friends. I groaned. It was too late to turn back. I had ran, and it would take two nights to get there by walking. I could run faster and longer in this clothing, instead of the heavy armour. My leg didn't hurt, and it didn't seem that it would go out on me. |
