I think it would be a terrific idea to have private messaging in the game on roblox. Something like the team chat option where you put percent in front of what you are going to say. (Ex: %Hello my name is Brisarge). For a private message the command could be something like this "/pm [Name] [Message]".
This could be very useful when your not in teams but have friends on the game with you so you can tell eachother important things that you need to know about. As an example you want your friend to know where you are but don't want anyone else to know. This makes it easier for people to share important information without letting anyone else know.

There won't have to be a problem if they add an option to set your place to enable PMing or disable PMing. Something like choosing the Chat options for your place except it will set whether or not to enable the Private messaging in the game. e.g. Classic, Bubble, Both. @ Boombox101, Team talk does work, you probably dont use it right. You're supposed to put percent in front of what you say like this "%Hello" but when you enter it into chat it looks like this "(TEAM) Hello." You are probably actually typing out "(TEAM)" instead of using the percent symbol. |

If they add the option to enable/disable it on your place they will just disable the pming on the places that are most likely to have people dating. No private conversations what so ever. Besides they already have the PM Gui (Like a texting gui so you can send private messages) and there isnt even a way to report what people say on the PM Gui. Mod's don't know anything they're saying on the PM Gui because they cant see it nor players in game can report it. There should be a report option if they add the PM feature to roblox. People seem alot more aware of online dating on roblox now. It's alot better than it used to be. Also if online predators PM someone and say something negative or bad language to them there will just a report button that they can just click on and inform Moderators of predatorial activity and Moderators can check the PM's and see if they containt any negative conversation. |

Does that mean that teamchat doesnt work? Because everyone on your team should hear you. Not anyone else. |
